| Objectives: | (1) To acquaint the student
with the overall operations research / management science process; (2) To expose the student to several of the most widely utilized OR/MS and production planning models, along with solution techniques; (3) To familiarize the student with the use of related computer programs, particularly Microsoft Excel, to facilitate the process. Applications related to production management are emphasized. |

| Examinations: | Examinations will emphasize
