The student is expected to be in the classroom, seated and ready at the beginning of the class, for each scheduled class period. Excessive absences may result in a lowered grade. Participation in class discussions is expected of each student, and is worth a portion of your grade. If a student will not be able to attend a class session when a test is given, it is the student's obligation to contact the instructor before that time to discuss the possibility of alternate plans. The instructor is under no obligation to accommodate such requests, but may choose to do so. |
