It will also make the student aware of current technological issues and how they will impact his or her ability to manage. Issues such as the necessity of accessing not only the advantages but also the less obvious drawbacks associated with new technologies will also be emphasized. The group assignment is a significant portion of your overall grade. Your individual grade will be a reflection of the overall quality of the group assignment adjusted for your amount of input, as seen by your teammates and the instructor.

The student is expected to be in the classroom, seated and ready at the beginning of the class, for each scheduled class period. Excessive absences may result in a lowered grade.

Participation in class discussions is expected of each student, and is worth a portion of your grade.

If a student will not be able to attend a class session when a test is given, it is the student's obligation to contact the instructor before that time to discuss the possibility of alternate plans. The instructor is under no obligation to accommodate such requests, but may choose to do so.

Testing will emphasize understanding of the material, and have content from the textbook and lectures. Points available from any exam not attended will likely be forfeited.
