The student is expected to be in the classroom, seated and ready at the beginning of the class, for each scheduled class period. The student should not expect help from the instructor or teaching assistant outside of class in understanding material discussed in a class period that they did not attend. If a student will not be able to turn in homework before the due date or attend a class session when homework is due or a test is given, it is the student's obligation to discuss the situation with the instructor before that time to determine the possibility of alternate plans. The instructor is under no obligation to accommodate such requests, but may choose to do so. |
